bloodline means how it originally begin. The very 1st pet cemetery that Stephen King did has Jud( Fred Gwynne) in it who talks about when he was younger he knew a man that buried his son Timmy, but Timmy didn't come back the same. So this his how it originated from the1st

Of course it's not like the original. Not supposed to be. Just took enough elements from it to make a cool horror movie. Plus I'll take Duchovny in anything.

Good movie, I enjoyed knowing Judd's background and Timmy who was buried in the semetary in the first movie, that they talk about.

I'm glad to see an origins movie made for pet semetary. But I feel like it should have been made in 2 parts. 1st back with Captain Ludlow. full movie and then Judds story. wrap things together. -continued in next comment-

how were movies so good back in the day, u would think they would have gotten better, it's like Hollywood doesn't give af about being creative anymore,they are making & remaking movies that are horrible 🤦🏽
