Respiro - 2002

Grazia is really just a wed to shy alive and fisherman Pietro on the isolated although manicured island of Lampedusa in the Mediterranean Sea. She shows signs of manic depressive behavior -- one moment she is laughing wildly and swimming half-naked in the sea, even while the next curled into a ball in her bed. Out of her earshot, the members of her extended family vaguely talk sending to a facility of some sort in Northern Italy.
