Overwhelmed by her program, touring European princess Ann will take off for a night while in Rome. But she falls asleep After a sedative she obtained from her doctor kicks in and can be found through an American reporter, Joe Bradley, who chooses her back to his flat to safety. At the office Joe realizes the royal identity and stakes of Ann his editor they is able to get interview with her, however love gets at all.
