Cashier and artist Christopher Cross is definitely smitten with the beautiful Kitty March. Kitty plays together, but she is really interested in Johnny. After Kitty and Dan find out that art dealers are thinking about Chris' work, they con him letting Kitty take credit for those paintings. Because he's in love with Kitty, cross allows it, but his love will let her escape so much.
