Back in Manhattan, the writer Jabez Stone is a loser: he is not able to promote his books, he resides in a lousy flat and he doesn't have success with women. When among his friends Julius Jenson sells his publication for US$ 190,000.00 to a editor, Jabez fells envy and promises to promote his soul to the devil for success and accidentally kills a female with his studying machine. The-devil seals that a contract together with Jabez and knocks on his door, fixes the situation. His superior books have reviews but become bestsellers. Jabez enhances.
