I think it was a dumb plot. If they would have all stayed together and made sure the others didn't harm themselves, and went into the kitchen and cut on the gas stove tops, they could have stayed warm. Possibly making some sort of enclosure to keep the heat in the area.

I was saying the same thing. 1 day time get more wood 2. get all blackets and all covers shower curtains and block off doors and windows. 3. turn on all burners and oven. and everyone stay in one spot.

why would you eat the snow? so they didn't bring food? everyone knows that you're supposed to bring enough food for at least 2 weeks or more especially in a place where it snows like that. wow I would never eat the snow let alone drink the so or water from the faucet. bottle only
