Strange Invaders - 1983

The ex wife of charlie disappears, and goes to where she grew up--a rural town in the midwest--to look on her behalf. But, surprisingly, nobody knows about her or any one of her relatives, the Newmans. Aliens are met by him. However, if he sees the FBI, they don't really believe him. He also tells his story to a tabloid. And suddenly, he is chased by the aliens.
