Styria - 2014

Inspired the seminal 19th Century vampire tale, by Carmilla by Sheridan LeFanu, STYRIA frees the audience into a world of fantasy and obsession. Back in 1989, Lara Hill (Eleanor Tomlinson), accompanies her art historian father (Stephen Rea) to an abandoned castle across the Iron Curtain. Outside of the castle from an auto accident, emerges the stunning and mysterious Carmilla. Lara secrets Carmilla into the castle and also both are drawn to an relationship. However, if Carmilla disappears, and people of the town begin committing suicide, the psychic wounds of Lara turned right to a nightmare which absorbs the entire town of Styria.
