The Big Knife - 1955

Hollywood producer Stanley Hoff gets angry with movie star Charlie Castle when he won't sign a new seven-year deal. Castle is tired of how bad the studio's movies are and wants to start over. His estranged wife agrees with him, but Castle's talent agent wants him to change his mind. When Castle still won't do what Hoff wants, Hoff uses blackmail to get what he wants.
