The Bishop's Wife - 1947

An Episcopal Bishop, Henry Brougham, was working for months on the plans for an elaborate new palace that he expects will be paid for primarily by way of a wealthy, more obstinate widow. He is currently losing sight of his family and of the reason the reason he turned into a churchman at the first location. Enter Dudley, an angel sent to help him. Dudley helps everybody else he meets, but perhaps maybe not in the way that they could have preferred. With the exception of Henry, everyone loves him, but Henry begins to believe that Dudley is there to displace him, both at the office and in his family's affections, as Christmas approaches.
