The Chase - 1966

Most everybody in the city thinks that Sheriff Calder is a puppet of rich oil man Val Rogers. If it's learned that prison has been escaped by local baddie Bubber Reeves, Rogers' son is concerned because he could be having an affair with Reeves' wife. It seems others in the city feel that they may have reasons to panic Reeves. Calder's aim is to attract Reeves unharmed. Calder might have to oppose the Rogers using mob violence and one hand on the other, in their own pursuit for justice.
