The Cleansing - 2019

Located at a small village at 14th century Wales, Alice is just a sixteen year old girl who causing the plague which has ravaged the village, taking the lives of several, including Alice daddy and is accused of being a witch. When it's revealed that Alice has been hiding the illness of her mother, she's forced to watch The Cleanser, an ominous figure, brutally dispatch her mother. The city preacher and de facto leader Tom has eyes Alice, and issues her. Escaping the evening with the assistance of her mother's friend Mary, she flees to the forest and discovers a healer's hut, along with their troubled past and allies to face. He teaches her how to exact revenge, and nurses her back to health.
