Bennett and teenagers Rose were in love, and then Bennett's life was claimed by a motor vehicle accident . He left a grieving mother, father and younger brother, and Rose was left all alone. She has no family therefore when she finds out she's pregnant, she pops up in the Brewer's door. She needs their help, they can start to heal, and even though they can not quite admit it, they all need her.
