Don Gallico is an inventor of stage magic effects who succeeds to become a star in their or her own right. Before his very first operation capricious manager Ross Ormond who wants effect was seen by Gallico buzz for the action of this Good Rinaldi, an established celebrity shuts down his act. With this defeat, and also the embarrassment of having lost his wife Claire to Ormond, Gallico determines it is the right time to take matters into their own handson.
