The Mephisto Waltz - 1971

A pianist himself, music journalist Myles Clarkson is excited to interview virtuoso Duncan Ely. Duncan is terminally ill and perhaps not interested until discovering that Myles' hands are suited to piano. He can not get enough of his friend, and Myles' wife becomes suspicious of Duncan's aims. When Duncan expires her suspicions grow and Myles becomes a virtuoso.
