The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

At new york, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray, learns that she is descended from a lineup of Shadowhunters -- half-angel warriors that protect humanity from evil forces. Clary enters Downworld, an alternate kingdom filled with a plethora of other creatures, vampires, and demons and combines forces with a set of Shadowhunters after her mother vanishes.
