The Outsider - 1983

In still another Belmondo vehicle, the French action hero plays a policeman prone to advancing the cause of justice at all necessary. On his agenda is a highly effective drug cartel working out of Paris and Marseilles, with a druglord (Henry Silva) who is essentially inaccessible -- but perhaps not immortal. Stunts (performed by Belmondo) and chase scenes on water and land enliven the narrative, but the scenes together with Belmondo's love attention are quite marginal themselves.
