A secret government research project attempts reviving the World War II"Philadelphia Experiment," which was an attempt to produce a magical apparatus to leave warships imperceptible. When the test succeeds, it brings back the unique ship (that the Eldridge) that disappeared during the first test in 1943 - that brings death and destruction to the 21st century. It's up to his granddaughter to discontinue it along with this only survivor of this first experimentation.
