The Straight Story - 1999

Widower and A retired farmer in his Alvin Straight learns one day that his brother Lyle that is remote could not recover and has suffered a stroke. Alvin is determined to get things straight with Lyle while he can, however his brother resides in Wisconsin, while Alvin is stuck in Iowa without a car and no driver's permit. Then he hits on the idea of making the trip in his old lawnmowerand at times deeply spiritual odyssey.
