The Sweet Hereafter - 1997

A tiny mountain community in Canada is ruined if a school bus accident leaves more than just a dozen of its children deceased. A lawyer arrives to help the survivors' and victims' families organize a class action suit, but his efforts seem to induce the townspeople. At exactly the exact same period, one teenaged section of the mishap has to guess with the loss of innocence created by a different sort of damage.
