I cried the whole movie ? I dunno if ppl get how much this is about healing generational trauma. I'm 30 years old and I've had the almost same relationship struggles with my mother. Unfortunately we never had the happy ending they have. But it was so comforting. I'm not chinese but the social pressure is so similiar in our community. I've felt so seen. And i love it so much how mei finds her way but without losing her culture and her roots. Finally a film where freedom doesn't mean to go the complete whitewashed way. I love it so much ??

I loved the whole female coming-of-age story line. Very relatable for all young female teenagers, but I think the whole red panda kind of took me out of it about halfway or 3/4ths...then again, the red panda is symbolic for her body going through puberty and changing. Will watch it again from that perspective.

Watched this with my three daughters and during the first 10 minutes they were yelling at each other…hey that’s you! My oldest the straight A student, my middle child who considers herself the awkward one, and the youngest who is really the crazy Panda. It was fun to see my three girls portrayed in this movie.

This movie was wonderful. The imagery and storyline kept us adults entertained, as well as our 3 year old. This is a coming of age story and, despite what those on social media claim, it's totally harmless and innocent. I also LOVED the making of. So refreshing to see larger representation in Disney/Pixar movies!!

this movie was sooooo relatable. my little me would have been grateful to see it sooner. but now she is very happy with this movie. by the way, the vibe doesnt't look like a disney pixar movie but it was excellent. the all movie was funny, and interesting. also the mother and daughter relationship was the best.
