Albertaa mousy young woman with the survival skills of a snail, loses cash that isn't hers, so that she runs out of her small town to Seattle where her old roommate, Celene, lives - a dominatrix using an elegant apartment and also a life plan. She lets Alberta stay. Alberta gets a job and becomes fascinated with the job of Celene.
