Recently released from prison, Beth is working to receive her son back from her sister, that was awarded custody while Beth was incarcerated for ten decades. Immediately after, Beth creates an unlikely alliance with Jess, an idealistic of this public defense group, who decides to take on the reason of Beth whether she likes it or maybe not.
