Wild Strawberries - 1957

To be able to get an honorary degree, retired doctor Isak Borg journeys from Stockholm to Lund, Sweden, together along with his unhappy and pregnant daughterinlaw, Marianne. On the waythey encounter a string of hitch-hikers, all whom causes the senior doctor to muse upon failures and the joys of his own life. Included in these are the lively Saraa dead ringer for a physician's own first love.
