Accused - 2010

Accused is actually a television anthology series. The play series aired on BBC One November 2010 on 15 also has run for two string. Each incident follows another personality while they wait their verdict also tells the story behind how they find themselves accused. The series has showcased actresses and celebrities such as Sean Bean, Benjamin Smith, Juliet Stevenson, Andy Serkis, Marc Warren, Naomie Harris, Christopher Eccleston and Anne-Marie Duff . The series follows play series by McGovern, including anthology series The Street and Moving On. After the conclusion of The Street in '09 by Granada Television, McGovern formed RSJ Films to produce drama programmes that were independent and devised the Accused anthology series. Accused is written by McGovern, Danny Brocklehurst and Alice Nutter and can be headquartered in Manchester. In 2011 it won an International Emmy for best drama series.
