Babylon 5 - 1994

Babylon 5 is just a five-mile long space channel located in space. Built by the Earth Alliance from the 2250s, by giving a sanctuary where negotiations and grievances can be resolved one of appointed ambassadors, it's purpose is to preserve peace among the various alien races. A council comprising representatives - the Earth Alliance, Minbari Federation, Centauri Republic, Narn Regime, and Vorlon Empire - work with the League of nonaligned Worlds to keep interstellar relations. Besides its diplomatic function, Babylon 5 also serves as a post for Earth and also a port of demand travellers, traders, businessmen, criminals, and Rangers.
