Being Erica is a Canadian comedy drama television set which aired to December 1 2, 2011 from January 5, 2009.Created by Jana Sinyor, the show was originally declared by the CBC but was retitled Being earlier debuting in 2009, Erica. Temple Street Productions produce it and distributed internationally by BBC Worldwide.The series stars Erin Karpluk a woman who begins seeing a therapist to deal with regrets in her own life, because Erica Strange, only to discover the therapist has the capability to ship her back change them and to relive these events.In Canada, the second season premiered on September 22, 2009. Only 1-2 episodes were produced for its season because of funding reductions at the CBC.On May 11, 2010, the CBC announced being Erica was revived for a third season of 13 episodes. Soapnet announced it was picking the whole season too. Season 3 surfaced at 9 pm ET, on CBC Television. In the United States, Season 3 began aired on Soapnet January 26, 2011, starting.The show season aired in autumn 2011. Although the series was never cancelled with the CBC,'' Sinyor told TV Guide throughout the fourth and final season run which the chain had reached a natural decision and also she had no plans to write or produce a fifth season.
