Captain Planet and the Planeteers is an American animated environmentalist Tv program created by Ted Turner, Robert Larkin III, and Barbara Pyle, Created by Pyle, Nicholas Boxer, Andy Heyward and Robby London, Also Produced by Pyle, Boxer, Heyward, London, Thom Beers, Bob Forward, Phil Harnage along with Cassandra Schafhausen. Turner Program Services and DIC Entertainment made the series and it was broadcast in September 15, 1990. HannaBarbera and Turner Program Services , produced A sequel series, The New Adventures of Captain Planet, also has been broadcast from September 11, 1993 to May 11, 1996. Both series continue now in syndication. The app urges environmentalism and is a form of edutainment.Back in February 2009, our mother earth Network unreleased footage of Captain Planet and the Planeteers and began airing episodes. Back in September 2010 , the Planeteer Movement was started with the assistance of Pyle to connect and also keep on to incorporate the messages of the show into their lives as real life Planeteers.
