Designing Women is a American television sitcom that based in a interior design firm in Atlanta, Georgia on the private and working lives of one individual and four women. It aired on the CBS television system from September 29, 1986. Head writer Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, who composed many of the episodes from the initial seasons of the show made the show. At the time of 2011, the series now airs in syndication on TVGN channels and the Comedy Gold.
