Fifth Gear - 2002

Fifth Gear is actually a British motoring television magazine collection. Originally shown on Channel 5 from 2002 to 2011 and Discovery since 2012, the show is currently introduced by Tiff Needell, Vicki Butler-Henderson, Jason Plato and Jonny Smith. Fifth Gear's competition show is the TopGear of BBC Two.Fifth Gear was broadcast on 8 as a continuation of the incarnation of the BBC show Top Gear, and being Gear , which has been cancelled in 2001. TopGear has been relaunched later that season. The BBC denied, although channel 5 originally wanted to carry on with the Very Best Gear name. A number of Top Gear's ex-presenters, for example Quentin Willson, Tiff Needell, and Vicki Butler-Henderson were hired by Channel 5 to exhibit Fifth Gear. The show had been also renamed as Fifth Gear at 2005.Repeats of Fifth Gear also started being broadcast on Discovery Turbo and later on UKTV channel, Dave at April 2008.
