Frank Herbert's Children of Dune is a miniseries written by John Harrison and directed by Greg Yaitanes, based on Frank Herbert's novels Dune Messiah and Children of Dune. First broadcast on March 16, 2003 in the USA, Children of Dune is produced by the Scifi Channel and also the sequel to the 2000 miniseries Frank Herbert's Dune. As of 2004, its predecessor and this mini series were two of the 3 apps to be broadcast on the sci fi Channel.
