A new widower ryan King and sports talk radio server prepared to get straight back to care for the wife's loss. The alphamale manager, Stephen of ryan, has a plan available for Ryan, which makes him attend counseling before returning into the air. A averse Ryan finds himself in a support group to get"lifetime change," at which he meets a oddball cast of characters, all with their own backstories filled with varying degrees of loss.
