Charting the life span of Isabella I of Castile,'' one of the women in Spain's history, Isabel follows her story. From her conflicts inside the court Ferdinand of Aragon to her wedding of King Henry IV, the play awakens emotions, the fires and cries of a woman who refused to just be a figurehead and whose outlook had been in front of her time.
