Life on Mars - 2008

Life on Mars is a sciencefiction crime drama tv series which aired on ABC in October 9, 2008 to April 1, 2009. It's a version of the same name produced by the BBC's UK collection. Kudos Film & Television, 20th Century Fox Television and ABC Studios co-produced the series.The series tells the story of new york police detective Sam Tyler, who, after getting attacked by a vehicle at 2008, regains consciousness in 1973. Fringing between multiple genres, including police procedural and thriller, science fiction, the series stayed ambiguous about its fundamental storyline, with the character unsure regarding his circumstance. The series also starred Gretchen Mol, Jonathan Murphy, Michael Imperioli, and Harvey Keitel.Life on Mars garnered significant praise for acting, its own premise, and depiction of this 1970s but suffered after its premiere and also a hiatus. ABC announced it wouldn't be ordering another season. A DVD set of the whole series has been released on September 29, 2009.
