Love Child follows Team at the fictional Kings Cross Hospital and the wild streets of Darlinghurst's lives from the 1960s.Joan Miller is actually just a sophisticated and smart mid wife who returns home from London to shoot a job. Dr Patrick McNaughton is a charismatic head of obstetrics at Kings Cross Hospital. Frances Bolton is the challenging matron who also controls the running of Stanton House, a home for pregnant women.
