Mutant X is. The series was made by Avi Arad, and it centers across Mutant X, a team of"New Mutants" who possess extraordinary powers as a result of genetic engineering. Mutant X's members were used as test subjects at a set of experiments. Mutant X's mission is always to search out and guard their fellow New Mutants. The series was filmed in Toronto.Even though the series had high ratings and was supposed to be renewed for a fourth season, it was suddenly canceled following the ending of one of those show's production companies, Fireworks Entertainment, ending the series in 2004.
