New Worlds - 2014

New Worlds is a 4 part miniseries dealing with loss, love and the price paid for liberties and the freedom we enjoy today. We follow the fortunes of four young adults - Beth, Abe, Hope and Ned - out across either side of the Atlantic, caught up in such tumultuous times. We view them fight as they are torn between beliefs and love at the harsh reality of the shifting universe. Back in England, the restored monarchy of Charles II has betrayed its promises and reverted to tyranny. Behind this Court's decadence, a horror machine is repressing the liberty won throughout the War of England for the people who have this much blood when Charles I was executed. In America, the tentacles of state dread hit on the English colonists of New England who're currently struggling to throw off the shackles of their English Crown. At the same period the colonists are staking their claim to the territories occupied by the Native American Indians, and shedding much of the American Indian's bloodstream in the procedure - at a frightening echo of their tyrannical behaviour They sought to escape when they grabbed the Atlantic
