Rebellion - 2016

A group of young women and men in Dublin in 1916 are embroiled in a struggle for independence during the Easter Rising.The narrative begins with the outbreak of World War I. Societal equilibrium is eroded as visions of a brief and glorious effort are hurried and Irish nationalism involves the fore. The tumultuous events which follow are seen through the eyes of friends of friends from Belfast, Dublin and London as they play with with conflicting and vital roles in the story of the independence of Ireland.
