Formerly filthy rich video store magnate Johnny Rose, his soap celebrity wife Moira, along with their two children, über-hipster son David and socialite daughter Alexis, unexpectedly end up broke and forced to dwell in Schitt's Creek, a small depressing town they once bought as a joke.
