The Affair explores the effects of an extramarital relationship between Noah Solloway and Alison Lockhart after the 2 meet at the Hotel town of Montauk. Noah is just a nyc schoolteacher with one publication published (book entitled A particular person who Visits a Position ) plus he is trying hard to write a second book. He's happily married with four kids, but resents his reliance upon his. Alison can be a waitress trying to slice marriage and her own life back together in the wake of the horrible passing of her son or daughter. The narrative of the event is told separately, detailed with memory biases that are different, from both female and male viewpoints.
