Wacky Races - 1968

Races is an American animated television show produced by Hanna Barbera. The set, inspired by the 1965 slap stick comedy film The fantastic Race, includes 11 different cars racing against each other in various road rallies throughout North America, with each driver hoping to secure the title of this"World's Wackiest Racer." Races ran on CBS in September 14, 1968, to January 4, 1969. Seventeen episodes are created, with each episode featuring two races.The cartoon had a remarkably high amount of routine characters, with people and critters . Re runs of this show now air many times a day on Cartoon Network's classic animation network Boomerang.
