Anne of Green Gables - 1985

At the turn of the century on Prince Edward Island, his sister Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert decide to take as help to their plantation on an orphan boy. But they make an unexpected jolt once they shipped a girl instead: Anne Shirley. Anne's a dreamer with an odd point of view, much removed from the pragmatic methods of Marilla, and it's only on trial that Marilla agrees to keep Anne.
