The well-known explorer and hunter Captain Spaulding has just returned from Africa, and has been filmed home with a lavish party at the real estate of influential society matron Mrs. Rittenhouse if an invaluable painting goes missing. While cooperating with his nutty along with the anarchic Signor Emanuel Ravelli sidekick The Professor, the Captain Spaulding tries to solve the crime with the assistance of his secretary Horatio Jamison.
