When petty criminal Luke Jackson has been sentenced to 2 yrs in a Florida prison farm, he still doesn't play with the rules of the sadistic warden or the resident heavy of even the yard will. Luke's bravado, in the face of recurrent stints from the prison's dreaded solitary confinement cell,"the box, then" make him a rebel hero to his fellow convicts and a thorn in the side of the prison officers.

love this movie this was one of of my father's favorite movies I grew up watching it plenty of times and I will watch it at least once a month just to remember my father
