The prior famous painter Frenhofer resides quietly with his wife in his countryside residence at the French Provence. Frenhofer decides to start the work when the artist Nicolas and his girl friend Marianne visit him. And he wants Marianne as model. The creative process changes life for every one. It's difficult for truth, life and sense, and the question if art is limitless where the constraints of arts are.
