Harry Holt returns to Africa to head a ivory expedition . This time he brings his friend Marlin Arlington. Holt harbors notions. When Arlington and Holt show some of perfumes and these contemporary clothes they brought out of civilization to Jane, she is impressed but not enough to go back.
