Mack Phillips spirals into a deep depression inducing him to question his innermost beliefs, after suffering a household catastrophe. He also receives a letter urging him to the abandoned shack deep within the Oregon wilderness. Despite his doubts, Mack travels to the shack and encounters an enigmatic trio of strangers headed by a lady. Through this meeting, Mack finds essential truths that may transform his comprehension of his catastrophe and also change his own own life for ever.

I read the book in prison...after reading it,it changed my whole life around...forgiveness is the key to being free...this movie is so great...it helped me see things in a better light
